Banana Nut Bread
Grandma had two recipes for Banana Bread. This one included nuts; and this one uses Bran. This banana bread recipe is a bit more moist, but both were very good. So if you do not like bran, this one is for you. Of course, as always, nuts are optional, but Grandma uses them a lot!
This summer I made Banana icecream, and scored a great deal on ton of bananas. Yesterday I was trying to make room for fall produce & freezing and found a container of chopped banana that I forgot to use. Banana bread was just meant to be 🙂

Banana Nut Bread
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 4 very ripe bananas (1 1/2 cups)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Mix wet ingredients together.
- Then add dry ingredients; finally mix in walnuts.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
